What is the minimum requirement for my phone to install TeaShark Beta?
To install TeaShark Beta, your phone must be able to support Java MIDP 2.0. Please consult with your phone manufacturer to check if your phone supports Java MIDP 2.0. To use TeaShark, your phone also needs to have a working internet connection.

Do I need to pay for using TeaShark?
TeaShark is absolutely free, but you will have to pay the data traffic according to the data plan with your operator.

Why does it take more than 30 seconds to start TeaShark for the first time?
When running TeaShark for the first time, it needs to connect to the server to get configuration information. Depending on your network condition, this process might take longer than 30 seconds. TeaShark only needs to do this once; future starting up takes a very short time after it is successfully configured.

What should I do if the configuration fails?
Please double check your network connection if TeaShark configuration fails. Make sure your access point is set up correctly and start TeaShark again. If it still fails, please raise a bug or drop us a mail at info@teashark.com

Use TeaShark

How do I find the shortcuts?
You can see the shortcut keys by pressing "#" key. The shortcuts available depend on what you're viewing, so keep checking!

How do I group my bookmarks with color tags?
To group your bookmarks with color tags, you first need to add text descriptions to color tags. In the start page, select Menu->View->Bookmarks, you will see the bookmarks view. Click "Manage Tags..." in bookmark view to edit color tags. You can then enter text descriptions in the input box next to each color tag.

To assign a color tag to a bookmark, select the bookmark in the bookmarks view, then select "Menu->Edit" to bring up the "Edit bookmark" dialog. You will see all available color tags below the bookmark URL box. Clicking any of the colored boxes will assign the color tag to the bookmark. You can assign multiple tags to one bookmark.
After a color tag is assigned to a bookmark, a colored box will display next to the bookmark in bookmarks view. Clicking a colored box will show all the bookmarks with the same color tag assigned.

How do I select text on page and search in my favorite search engine?
Press "1" key to bring up the popup menu, where you can select whether you want to do a web search, or to call a number. You can then click the page to start selecting text. When you move the cursor, text will be selected into the input box at the bottom of your phone screen. Clicking again stops text selection and TeaShark will search the text or call the number for you. You can always select "Menu->Edit" to edit the text during selection.

How do I use tabs?
There are 2 ways of opening a page in an other tab. You can either do "Menu->Go to" and after entering the URL, instead of clicking the middle softkey, you go "Menu->Open in the 2nd tab" to use the 2nd tab. Or, while hovering a link with the cursor, press "1" to bring up the popup menu and select "Open link in 2nd tab".

To switch between tabs: press "7" or hit the right softkey to bring up the history thumbnails and use up and down arrow keys to navigate between your tabs.

How do I use auto-complete?
Auto-complete works only while inline editing, similar to url auto-complate. The phone's native editor does not support this feature. Typing, while your mouse hovers a text box, turns inline editing mode on. Continue to type and TeaShark offers you matches. Use the right arrow key to accept it letter by letter or the clear key to reject it. Exit the text box by either pressing the middle softkey (Done) or just by simply hit up or down arrow key.

Note that the only major difference between url and inline auto-complete is that while in url entry, the dimmed part of the text gets added automatically when you press done. In inline editing, it gets left out: You need to accept the dimmed part of the matching text explicitly by the right arrow key.

Remember, while editing, you always have access to the phone's native editor by "Menu->Edit".

How do I delete my cookies?
In the start page, select "Tools->Preferences" to bring up the "Preferences" dialog. Clicking the button "Clear private data" will delete all your cookies.
